Frequently asked questions

1. What should I bring?

Bring a swimsuit, towel, and water bottle. Sandals are optional. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle in.

2. Is this my own private sauna?

Public sessions are shared with other guests. Looking for a private experience? Check out our Private Rentals and Event Partnerships options.

3. How does the experience work?

Move between the wood-fired sauna, cold plunge (or lake, where available), and outdoor relaxation area at your own pace. Stay in each as long as feels comfortable—there's no right way to enjoy the cycle.

4. Is sauna and cold plunge safe?

Most healthy adults can safely enjoy sauna and cold exposure. If you're pregnant or have heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or other medical concerns, consult your healthcare provider before participating.

5. What if I've never done a cold plunge?

No experience is necessary, and cold plunging is always optional. Many first-time guests choose to simply enjoy the sauna or ease into the cold at their own pace.

6. What happens if it rains?

We operate in most weather conditions—rain often makes the experience even better. If severe weather creates unsafe conditions, we'll notify you as soon as possible regarding rescheduling.

7. Can I book Elsewhere for a private event?

Absolutely. We offer private rentals for homes and vacation properties, as well as event partnerships for races, corporate wellness events, retreats, and community gatherings.

8. What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before your session. Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Sauna Etiquette

A few simple guidelines help create a comfortable experience for everyone:

  • Swimsuits are required throughout the experience.

  • Leave your shoes outside the sauna and rinse your feet before entering to help keep the space clean.

  • Keep the sauna door closed whenever possible to preserve the heat for everyone.

  • Before adding water to the rocks (löyly), check with those around you to make sure everyone is comfortable with more steam.

  • Leave phones outside the sauna and take this time to disconnect.

  • Avoid headphones or speakers inside the sauna. High heat can damage electronics, and the experience is best enjoyed together or in quiet.

  • No smoking, vaping, or tobacco products anywhere within the sauna or wellness area.

  • Stay hydrated and listen to your body. Step outside to cool down or rest whenever you need to.

Thank you for helping us create a welcoming space where everyone can slow down, reconnect, and be elsewhere.

Thanks for reaching out. We'll get back to you shortly.
